In origine due appartamenti, da unire e ridistribuire. Tutto ruota attorno al cubo centrale: ingresso, living con studio, zona notte, cucina con lavanderia… Si entra e tre sono i percorsi: a destra il living, a sinistra la cucina, diritti verso la notte. Il living è luminoso, tre ampie porte finestre ritmate Illuminano pranzo, divani e studio. Il mobile TV nasconde la lunga scrivania servita da due librerie laterali, attorno fa da sfondo una libreria aerea a L servita da una leggera scala scorrevole. Il cubo-guardaroba e la cucina sono rialzati su una pedana di 15 cm. L’isola cucina è protetta da enormi porte scorrevoli in vetro e telaio bianco… si cucina e si serve sul banco colazione, c’è tutto doppio forno, frigo, freezer, scaldavivande e doppia cantinetta… ed un angolo più intimo per cenette a due. Si scende il gradino e si cercano le tre porte invisibili. A sinistra per entrare nel bagno, dove con un gioco di incastri ho posizionato vasca e doccia su pedana. A destra la camera matrimoniale con cabina e bagno. Un telaio scorrevole in vetro bianco latte chiude la cabina armadio mentre un telaio fisso, sempre bianco latte, protegge la sensuale doccia. L’ultima porta invisibile chiude la camera singola con angolo studio sotto la finestra. Il silenzio del bianco caldo di pareti e plafone e del crema della pedana in resina è rotto dal moka del rovere massello inchiodato che suona sotto i nostri passi!!!
THE WHITE HOUSE
Originally they were two separate apartments, to be united and redistributed. Everything rotates around a central cube: entrance, living room with a studioO, night area, kitchen and laundry… One enters the apartment and one can choose three different paths: on the right side there’s the living room, on the left the kitchen, and straight ahead there is the bedroom. The living room is… very bright. Three wide door windows illuminate the dining area, the sofa and the office. The TV furniture hides a long desk with two bookshelves on the sides. Around this area there is a air bookshelf with an L shape reachable by a sliding ladder. The wardrobe and the kitchen are raised 15 cm from the ground. The island of the kitchen is protected by two enormous sliding doors, fully made of iron and with white frame… One cooks and eats on the breakfast counter. The kitchen is fully equipped there is: a double oven,a fridge, a freezer, a dish warmer, a wine bar, and… a private corner for romantic dinners. Heading down the stairs one looks at three invisible doors. Moving to the left one enters the bathroom. In the bathroom, with a series of joints I positioned the shower and the bathtub on a platform. I planned a sliding frame made in white glass to close the wardrobe, and a fixed white frame to protect the sensual shower. The last invisible door closes the single room with a small office area under the window. The silence of white walls, the ceiling and the cream colours of the resin platform, are intervalled by the durmast solid wood pavement, which creeps at every step.
